Farting sound is heard twice during Rudy Giuliani’s voter fraud hearing in Michigan

Rudy Giuliani appeared to pass gas during a Michigan hearing regarding alleged election voter fraud on Wednesday.

Giuliani, President Trump‘s personal lawyer, appeared to let the flatulence rip at least twice during the nearly five-hour hearing before state legislature in Lansing.

He was in the midst of a heated exchange with Rep. Darrin Camilleri, who confronted Giuliani over the New York Times article claiming he lobbied Trump for a preemptive pardon.

Trump’s legal adviser Jenna Ellis (right) gave Rudy Giuliani the side-eye on Wednesday after the 76-year-old appeared to pass gas twice during Michigan’s hearing

‘I will ask that he be disciplined for that,’ Giuliani, 76, fired at Camilleri when the first fart noise was heard.

Around 90 seconds later, the microphone picks up a similar sound heard by Trump’s legal adviser, Jenna Ellis, who sat next to Giuliani during the hearing.

‘The answer that I gave you was that they didn’t bother to interview a single witness,’ Giuliani said, refusing to stop his discussion with Camilleri.

Ellis’ head snaps towards Giuliani, gives him a steady, knowing stare. A small smirk looked ready to escape, but she focused her attention back on the proceedings.

While Ellis quickly regained her bearings after Giuliani appeared to break wind, the internet ran with the footage and shared jokes online.

‘Beyond bizarre …so why am I laughing?’ English singer and songwriter Peter Framptom wrote on Twitter.

‘JENNA’S FACE,’ journalist Holly Figueroa O’Reilly wrote. ‘Rudy farting so loudly that the mic picked it up and Jenna could barely hold back a laugh is peak 2020, man. Girl, aren’t you sad you refused to wear a mask?’

Reporter Rex Chapman chimed in on Tuesday night, telling his 19,000 followers, ‘Ok, shut it all down.’

‘Rudy Giuliani just farted. Check out the side-eye from the girl seated next to him the second it happens. You can’t write it…’

One Twitter user responded to Chapman’s tweet by adding a few more flatulence-related puns.

‘Ok I give up. Of all the Giuliani chaos over the last five years this takes the cake. Or the cheese. Or the fart,’ he wrote.

One person who happened across the footage wrote ‘odor in the court!’

And other Twitter users described the reported incident as another unexpected quirk in 2020.

‘2020 has me on Twitter searching for “Giuliani fart”, what a year,’ they wrote.

The footage went viral after Ryan Reilly of HuffPost shared the video to his Twitter account. The footage has more than three million views.

This latest gaffe came after Giuliani was mocked online for other press conferences he’s held in the Trump campaign’s fight for an election reversal.

In November, reporters were confused when a press conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was indicated to be at the Four Seasons Hotel – but it was actually Four Seasons Total Landscaping.

Giuliani pushed unfounded voter fraud claims while standing between Delaware Valley Cremation Center and Fantasy Island Adult Books, where owners host ‘Dildo Madness’ sales throughout the year.

Later that month, Giuliani appeared to literally melt when reported hair dye or mascara began streaking down his face.

At Michigan’s hearing, Giuliani tried to reel in one of his witnesses who claimed to have witnessed election fraud at a two-day hearing in Michigan.

One of Rudy Giuliani‘s  witnesses speaking at the Michigan House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday claimed she saw poll workers running ballots through voting machines ‘thousands of times’.

Mellissa Carone claimed to have worked as a contractor for Dominion Voting System. At one point during the hearing, a state representative Steve Johnson said she should be testifying under oath.

But in response, the 33-year-old said she ‘had an affidavit’.

‘I am a mother, I have two children, I have two degrees. I don’t know any woman in the world that would write an affidative under oath just to write it. You can go to prison for this,’ she said.

She also repeatedly spoke over the lawmaker, raising her voice, at which point Giuliani was seen leaning over and appearing to ‘shush’ her.

Carone’s affidavit was included in the Michigan lawsuit that the Trump team filed in hopes of stopping the election certification of Wayne County, the Daily Beast reports.

Not only was the request denied by a judge, but the same judge said that Carone’s allegations were ‘simply not credible.’

Carone explained during the hearing that while working as a contractor, workers were shuttled to a facility called the ‘Chicago warehouse’ where she witnessed a majority of the alleged fraud.

‘I know for a fact that there was illegal activity going on there,’ Carone declared at the hearing, claiming that people had ‘pictures’ of boxes being carried out of the warehouse.

At one point during the hearing, Carone engaged in a tense exchange with GOP Rep. Steve Johnson when he questioned some of her allegations. She repeatedly referenced an affidavit that she signed as a means to give credence to her allegations.

Carrone worked for Ford before being laid off and said she was recruited to work for Dominion through an agency. She lives in a Wayne County suburb of Detroit with her fiance.

She claimed that she was unable to get work in the wake of making her claims about election fraud.

‘My life has been destroyed,’ she said. ‘I’ve lost family, I’ve lost friends. I’ve had to change my phone number. I’ve had to get rid of social media.

‘I can’t even get an actual job anymore because Democrats like to ruin their lives, that’s why, like they did to Trump.’

Carone had taken part in a ‘stop the steal’ protest earlier this month, and after her affidavit was made public, appeared on a series of pro-Trump broadcast outlets, including Fox Business Network’s Lou Dobbs.

Despite claiming to have ‘got rid of social media’ she posted pictures with Giuliani and Ellis after the hearing.

Another witness hauled in by Giuliani claimed that ‘all Chinese look alike’ when advocating for voter ID requirement in the state.

‘The other representative said that you can actually show up and vote without an ID, it’s shocking. How can you allow that to happen.,’ the unidentified witness pondered during the hearing in Lansing.

‘A lot of people think all Indians look alike, I think all  Chinese look alike, so how would you tell?’

The comment solicited light chuckles from others in the room before the woman continued with her point.

‘If some child shows up you can be anybody and you can vote. And if somebody with my name, you can’t even tell my name, anyone can vote on my behalf. So ID should be the basic requirement,’ she concluded.
