Burger King’s Impossible Whopper hit stores across the US in August 2019 after a popular test run the year before. In January 2020, it announced a testing phase for the Impossible Croissan’wich, made with a plant-based sausage patty.
McDonald’s is working on bringing a plant-based alternative to its menus, but so far has just offered the ‘Big Vegan TS,’ which is manufactured by Nestlé, in Germany.
