Friends told 11Alive that Delgado, who was born in Venezuela, spoke to her husband Yhony Castro around 7pm on April 16 before she picked up a passenger. He reported her missing about eight hours later when she did not return home as expected.

Castro was able to track his wife’s phone to a home in DeKalb County. He told investigators it had been there for about an hour before it was tracked to a storage unit on Covington Highway.

He went first to the storage unit where he reportedly found a face mask with blood on it, according to 11Alive.

In an interview on in April, Delgado’s friend Jennifer Nuñez said Castro then went to the home where he spoke to 30-year-old Megan Alyssa Colone, who would later be named as one of the suspects in Delgado’s murder by the GBI.

When Castro rang the doorbell and asked Colone about his wife, she acted bizarrely and panicked, Nuñez said.

‘She pretended like she didn’t know what was happening,’ Nuñez told 11Alive in an interview in Spanish.

The Cherry Log home where Delgado’s body was found is believed to have belonged to Colone.

Delgado was last seen in DeKalb County on the same day she was reported missing.

Footage released by her family in what they believe is the last time she was seen alive shows Delgado in a Ross Store in the Mall Plaza Fiesta in Atlanta.

In the clip, Delgado is seen checking out at a register in the store next to another woman, identified later as Colone.

Four suspects initially named in the case were Ayala Rodriguez, Colone, Oscar Manuel Garcia, 26, and Mario Alberto Barbosa Juarez, 29.

Colone and Garcia were arrested in Mexico along with another suspect, Juan Antonio Vega, 25.

Calvin Harvard, 28, was the first arrest made and has been charged with evidence tampering and theft by receiving stolen property after he was found in possession of Delgado’s car.

Police are still searching for Barbosa Juarez as well as two additional suspects; Carolina Jazmin Rodriguez Ramirez, 28, and Maria Katherine Chavez Encarnacion, 28.
