‘Instagram famous’ baker Eloise Head has shared her three-ingredient recipe for Oreo sponge cake, which fans say is her easiest dessert yet.
The London chef, who became a social media sensation during the first Covid lockdown in early 2020 by sharing photos of simple but decadent sweets, makes the cake with milk, baking powder and a packet of Golden Oreos.
Ms Head tops the cake with a layer of chocolate ganache, which she makes from a block of white chocolate and cream – but this step is optional.

Ms Head starts by separating the two-sided biscuits and crushing the pieces into fine crumbs.
She adds one teaspoon of baking powder, 250ml of milk and the Oreo filling, then mixes until all the ingredients are fully combined.
Ms Head greases a 7cm cake tin with butter and pours the mixture in, then microwaves the container for seven minutes.
Once cooked, she tips the cake onto a wire rack to cool and makes the topping by mixing 100ml of piping hot double cream with 300g of white chocolate.
