In love: Alyssa Gutierrez, 22, and her partner Peter, 56, from Las Vegas, Nevada, have been together for three years
Age gap: Alyssa is the same age as Peter’s daughter, and he is older than her father
Despite appearances, Alyssa — who recently went viral on social media for talking about how Peter spoils her with luxurious gifts like designer Gucci bags and cars — insists the couple’s relationship is not about money.
‘I have always been attracted to older men, older guys in general, so it really isn’t anything new to me,’ she told Jam Press.
‘Crazy to say, but ever since I was little, I always knew. I had crushes on my dad’s friends or older brother’s friends. Though Peter is the oldest guy I’ve been in a relationship with,’ she admitted.
The couple has been together for three years and hopes to get engaged in 2021.
Peter, who is divorced, made the first move, asking Alyssa out for dinner at a fancy restaurant.
‘I was married for 15 years — and divorced in 2010,’ he told Jam Press.
‘From 2013 to 2017, I was in a relationship with a younger girl. She was 22 years old when we started dating,’ he explained. ‘I had recently ended a four-year relationship with that girl when I met Alyssa.
Intimate details” Alyssa said they have ‘great sex,’ adding that he knows ‘how to please’ her
More than that: Even though Peter buys her designer clothes and accessories, they insist their relationship is ‘not about money’
Fate? The hairstylist and professional sports gambler were first introduced on a sugar daddy dating website
‘As she walked up the restaurant stairs for our date, I totally perked up and was just mesmerized by her beauty. I was not expecting her to be so perfect — but she got my attention immediately,’ he added.
‘Alyssa is such a kind person and wasn’t trying to take advantage of my wealth like many other girls. You can’t buy Alyssa’s love or affection — she is just so real.’
Alyssa, who was equally smitten during their first meeting, added: ‘Right from the start, it was the way he carried himself, obviously, he’s very attractive and physically fit — also charming, young at heart and easy to talk to.
‘We instantly clicked.’
Soon after they met, Peter offered the hairstylist a room in his high-rise condo and the pair have been inseparable ever since.
‘My parents were divorcing at the time; I either had the choice to move in with one of them or go on my own, I was ready to leave and be on my own,’ Alyssa said.
‘I told Peter all about it, I was already looking at a new apartment and in the works of getting it set up, then he literally offered for me to move in with him — he had an extra bedroom and bathroom in his high-rise condo.
Plan worked: Alyssa signed up for the sugar baby dating site after 20th birthday with the goal of finding an ‘older’ man who would spoil her and act like a gentleman
Seriously: Alyssa insisted she has ‘always been attracted to older men’
Looking back: Alyssa said she used to have crushes on her dad’s friends when she was growing up
‘I was in cosmetology school at the time and the campus was only five minutes up the street. I was thinking to myself: “This is ideal, it really couldn’t be more perfect.”‘
Alyssa chose to keep their relationship secret for the first year and a half, as she was skeptical about what those around her would think, but now she flaunts her relationship with pride.
‘This was my biggest age gap relationship yet,’ she said. ‘My first serious relationship was with a guy around my age, after that ended I started to date older men; two of my exes were in their early and mid-30s but those relationships were not serious.
‘Of course, I was nervous about how my family, friends, and city (small town, things get around fast) would view my new relationship,’ she admitted.
‘Peter is older than both of my parents, but after a year and a half, I told my family and they were accepting of it.’
Another challenge was meeting Peter’s children — the professional sports gambler has a son, Payton, 20, and a daughter, Jenna, 22.
‘Yes, his daughter and I are the same age,’ Alyssa said. ‘His son lives in another state with his mom but we see him every so often.
Happy: Peter is the oldest guy Alyssa has ever dated, but they’re making it work
Moving in: Soon after they met, Peter offered the hairstylist a room in his high-rise condo and the pair have been inseparable ever since
Proud: Alyssa kept their relationship a secret for a year and a half, but now she flaunts it
‘I don’t get to spend much time with them, but the times I have it’s been nice, they accept our relationship.’
Alyssa claims one of the reasons their relationship works so well is because, as an older gentleman, Peter, knows how to treat a woman — both in and out of the bedroom.
‘It’s nice to have a mentor: he can help me with situations or problems I’m having or guide me in the right directions,’ she explained. ‘I love the thought of security, stability and loyalty in our relationship.
‘Communication is where I lack sometimes but being with him, my/our communication has really grown strong.
‘Obviously, we have great sex,’ she added. ‘He knows how to please me, though that’s not to say I haven’t taught him a couple of things.’
Peter also gave his thoughts on relationship age gaps: ‘I just get along so well with Alyssa — there is such strong physical and emotional chemistry.

Works for him: Peter credits his much-younger girlfriend with keeping him motivated to stay fit and celebrate holidays
‘She keeps me motivated to enjoy life, special occasions, traveling and staying physically fit. Sometimes I feel like staying home and not celebrating special holidays — but Alyssa always keeps me enthusiastic to be outgoing and enjoy life.
‘I did not expect or desire to have a long-term relationship with such a young girl, it just happened,’ he insisted.
Although the couple is very happy together, that’s not to say they aren’t very different.
While Peter gets up at 5 a.m. every day, Alyssa is ‘not a morning person.’ Her partner also enjoys politics, but she doesn’t. And while Peter is a homebody, Alyssa prefers to go out.
The couple often gets funny looks while out but no longer take any notice of it. And there are wedding bells chiming for the future.
‘We plan on marriage,’ Alyssa said. ‘We’ll hopefully be engaged this year. Without Covid-19 going on, it probably would have been sooner.
‘He loves to tell me how we should just go to the chapel and elope. But of course, this is my first marriage, I want to have the whole experience.
Alyssa also shared that they want to have children together, but that’s still a few years away, at least.
Differences: While Peter is a homebody, Alyssa prefers to go out on the town
Opposites: Peter is also a morning person who gets up at 5 a.m. — Alyssa is not
Future: The couple hopes to get engaged this year and have kids when Alyssa is 25
‘We do talk about kids too, but I’d like to be set in my career path before children. I’m thinking when I’m around 25 or so.’
The couple, who have planned a trip to Cabo, Mexico for Valentine’s Day, regularly share their day-to-day exploits on her @lyssag36 TikTok account with her 72,800 followers.
‘Peter would prefer to keep our relationship completely private, i.e. no social media,’ Alyssa admitted, adding: ‘There are lots of supporters who do admire us for being so public and open about our age gap relationship.
‘There is a whole community of age gapers. It actually becoming way more common than people think.
‘Also, it’s really a beautiful thing to see girls coming to me for advice, tips and how to help with them with being in similar relationships, and of course, you have that other 15 per cent of haters and trolls.
‘On TikTok, they will mostly joke, “Is that your dad?” and “I don’t do that with my father.” A lot of haters say I have “daddy issues,” when in reality I have a great relationship with my father.
‘Do what you want and date whomever you want, as long as you’re happy that’s all that matters.
‘I really love this man. I absolutely can’t wait to continue our story and watch our lives grow together.’
