Joe Biden could be ‘compromised by the Chinese Communist Party,’ a Republican congressman has claimed, and demanded that the Democrat leader provide a full account of his business dealings with his son Hunter.
On Tuesday night Hunter Biden’s former business partner Tony Bobulinski told Fox News that he had twice met Joe – on May 2 and May 3, 2017, in Los Angeles – and that Joe was told by Hunter that they were working on a Chinese-backed infrastructure project together.
Bobulinski also alleged, without providing evidence, that Hunter had received $5 million from the Chinese partners, and that Joe was referred to in correspondence as ‘the big guy’, expecting a share of the profits.
Dan Crenshaw appeared on Fox News on Wednesday morning to voice his concern

The business started by Bobulinski, Hunter Biden, Joe’s brother James Biden and two other men collapsed in the fall of 2017, and never completed any deals. It was wound up in 2018.
‘There’s a possibility that Joe Biden is actually compromised by the Chinese Communist Party,’ Crenshaw told Fox & Friends.
‘Here’s why,’ he said.
‘We know for a fact, this is undisputed, that Hunter Biden has gone around the world getting sweetheart deals because of his family’s name.
‘This raises some pretty serious questions that the Bidens have to answer. Is he the big guy? Are the emails real? Did he meet with Tony Bobulinski?
‘These should be very simple questions and when asked, they say, “oh, those questions have been answered.”
‘No they haven’t. The American people deserve to know this. We’re about to have an election and potentially elect a president that’s compromised by the Chinese Communist Party because this energy company has direct ties to the Communist Party.’
The Biden campaign has not responded to the Bobulinski interview.
Bobulinski insisted he was telling his story because the American public needed to know

Trump has seized upon the emails from Bobulinski, and other data from a laptop that Hunter reportedly took to be repaired, as supposed evidence of the Biden family’s corruption.
Joe during Thursday night’s debate vehemently denied having ever taken any money from foreign governments.
The Biden campaign insists that Trump is attempting to divert attention away from his own shortcomings, and Trump critics have suggested that it is part of a Russian-orchestrated disinformation plot.
On Sunday night, in a 60 Minutes interview, Biden spoke out about the laptop scandal and the emails.

Joe said he believed that Rudy Giuliani, the president’s lawyer, who has touted the laptop around various media outlets seeking publicity, was being used by Russia.
‘From what I’ve read and know, the intelligence community warned the president that Giuliani was being fed disinformation from the Russians,’ Biden said.
‘And we also know that Putin is trying very hard to spread disinformation about Joe Biden.
‘And so when you put the combination of Russia, Giuliani, the president, together – it’s just what it is.
‘It’s a smear campaign because he has nothing he wants to talk about. What is he running on? What is he running on?’
