BREAKING NEWS – Kamala Harris tests POSITIVE for COVID: Vaccinated and boosted VP forced to isolate after trip to California – but is NOT considered a close contact of Biden
Vice President Kamala Harris has contracted Covid-19.
The vice president’s press secretary Kirsten Allen said in a statement Tuesday that Harris tested positive for Covid-19 on both rapid and PCR tests.
‘She has not been a recent contact to the President or First Lady due to recent travel schedules,’ Allen said.
The vice president has received both Covid vaccines and took her second booster shot early this month. She is not currently experiencing symptoms.
Her husband Doug Emhoff contracted the virus in mid-March.
Harris took a week-long trip to her home state of California and returned Monday night.
