Kris Jenner is overcome with excitement as she and Kylie spend the day doing ‘normal’ things

As one of the world’s most famous families, it is often an impossible task for the Kardashian-Jenner clan to step out in Los Angeles without attracting attention.

But during the latest instalment of Hulu’s The Kardashians on Thursday, momager Kris Jenner and her 24-year-old daughter Kylie relished a day of doing ‘normal things’ – browsing a grocery store, filling up their petrol tank and going to the car wash.

While these are seemingly mundane tasks to the average Tom, Dick, and Harry, 66-year-old Kris, who likened the car wash to Disneyland, explained that privacy in such instances is a ‘little tricky.’

‘This is like Disneyland!’: Kris Jenner was overcome with excitement at a car wash as she and daughter Kylie spent the day doing ‘normal’ things during the latest episode of The Kardashians

‘I have not been to a grocery store in two years,’ Kris admitted, to which Kylie added, ‘I haven’t been to a grocery store in forever. I want to go to the grocery stores and pick my own things!’

In a confessional, Kris explained her reasons behind avoiding such an errand: ‘One of the things that gets a little tricky is privacy.

‘I stopped going to the grocery store because people in the store started sneaking pictures, and paparazzi started showing up. It was hard.’

When they entered Vintage Greens, the businesswoman, who confessed that being a mum as opposed to manager is the ‘most magical time’, gushed that she had waited ‘years’ for the check-out experience and even celebrated her payment being accepted.

‘No, we want to push the cart ourselves,’ was Kris’s response when asked if they required assistance taking the goods to the car.

‘I loved every minute of it!’ Kylie said of their shopping excursion, before being reminded by her mum to return the trolley.

Ever-encouraging Kris praised: ‘Go, Kylie, go! Good job, Kylie, you’re doing amazing sweetie! Wow, look at her go. I knew you would shine.’

For their next chore, it was going back to basics for mum-of-six Kris as she almost forgot to turn off the engine whilst filling up with fuel.

When Kylie reminded her, she replied: ‘Well, we didn’t blow up. That’s the good news.’

The car wash was the main event however, as mum-of-two Kylie branded it a ‘tourist attraction.’

After learning they got to ‘sit inside’ whilst the car got washed, Kris enthused: ‘This is like Disneyland. We have to bring the kids here… This is the best $12 we’ve ever spent!’

After, Kris turned to Kylie and said: ‘Wasn’t that fun? That was one of the best times I’ve had in a long time!’

The poignance of their day together was addressed in a later confessional by the proud mum.

‘The most important thing to me is spending time with all my kids and my family, and it gets harder and harder as the years go by, which makes me really sad.

‘So, any chance I can grab a little bit of time with any of them – even if it means going through a car wash – I have Kylie all to myself, and that means everything.’

Honest: 'The most important thing to me is spending time with all my kids and my family, and it gets harder and harder as the years go by, which makes me really sad,' Kris said in a confessional
