Lady Gaga is ’emotional and grateful’ over safe return of her dogs and her dog walker’s recovery

Lady Gaga is said to be ’emotional and grateful’ over the safe return of her two French bulldogs, as well as her dog walker Ryan Fischer’s recovery in hospital.

A source told People that the singer-songwriter, 34, ‘first got the news’ that Fischer ‘was doing okay’ on Friday after he was shot and critically wounded during a violent dognapping last Wednesday.

Gaga, who was shooting the upcoming Ridley Scott film House of Gucci in Rome, Italy at the time of Wednesday’s incident, reportedly learned just hours later that her dogs, Koji and Gustav, were safely recovered and in the hands of authorities.

‘She was very emotional and grateful,’ insisted the source. ‘[When] she got the terrible news from Los Angeles, she was extremely upset.

‘She was worried about her friend and her dogs. It was a terrible start to her Italian work trip,’ they continued, adding that Gaga ‘stayed in her hotel room’ as she awaited updates on her friend’s condition and the status of her dogs.

Despite the horrific nature of the circumstances, the source claimed that Gaga ‘remained hopeful it would all work out.’

The Pokerface singer will reportedly pay Fischer’s $97,500 medical bills because she ‘feels horrendous about what happened to [him] and wants to make sure he is looked after,’ a source told the Mirror

‘She absolutely adores him and is forever indebted to him for his bravery.’

The unnamed source said that Gaga also wanted to compensate Fischer for lost work and ‘has been wishing him a speedy recovery.’

Fischer, who remains in the hospital, is expected to make a full recovery, his family told the outlet.

‘Ryan is receiving extraordinary care in the hospital right now and his doctors expect him to make a full recovery. We cannot possibly say enough to thank all of the first responders, nurses and doctors who have worked so tirelessly to care for Ryan,’ his family told TMZ.

Fischier’s family also thanked the celebrity and wished for her dogs s Gustavo and Koji to return safely, before they were ultimately reunited with their owner on Friday.

‘Of course, we also want to thank Lady Gaga who has shown nothing but non-stop love and concern for Ryan and our family right from the outset,’ Fischier’s family said.

‘Ryan loves Gustavo and Koji as much as Lady Gaga does; so we join in her plea for their safe return,’ said the family prior to the dogs’ safe return.

The mystery woman who found Lady Gaga’s stolen French bulldogs in Los Angeles on Friday came across the pups tied to a pole, reports said.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the woman was a Good Samaritan who recognized the dogs from media coverage of the robbery in which the singer’s dog walker was shot.

She contacted an email address shared on social media by Lady Gaga and was told to head to the nearest police station.

Sources also told TMZ that the ‘Star is Born’ actress will ‘gladly’ follow through on her promise of a reward and offer the woman $500,000.

It comes as her father claims that the two dognappers should be charged with assault and attempted murder for shooting 30-year-old Fischer as he tried to protect Koji and Gustav.

Joe Germanotta spoke to Fox News on Saturday morning, just hours after Los Angeles Police announced that the two French bulldogs were recovered unharmed.

‘I want them apprehended so that they are tried for assault and/or attempted murder,’ Germanotta said Saturday morning of the men who shot Fischer.

‘I am relieved that Ryan is going to be OK and Koji and Gusatv were found. Thanks to the LAPD,’ Germanotta, who owns a restaurant on the West Side of Manhattan, said.

‘Letting Koji and Gustav go unharmed was nice but they must be punished for what they did to Ryan. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses in the emergency room.’

Her identity and the location where the dogs were found won’t be disclosed for her safety and because of the ongoing investigation, the LAPD has said.

In a tweet Friday night, the LAPD said a woman had found the dogs ‘and reached out to Lady Gaga´s staff to return them.’

Lady Gaga’s representative and detectives went to the station and confirmed that they were the dogs, Tippet said.

The suspects in the robbery and shooting are two black males estimated to be between 20 and 25 years old, cops said on Thursday.

LAPD Robbery Homicide detectives ensured the public they ‘will continue to investigate to ensure the persons responsible are ultimately arrested and brought before justice.’

The woman who dropped off the dogs appears to be ‘uninvolved and unassociated’ with the attack, Tippet said.

Last Friday, harrowing new footage emerged of the moment Fischer was shot in the street by assailants who then snatched Gaga’s beloved beloved pets and left him writhing in pain in the street.

The video was taken on a neighbor’s doorbell camera near West Hollywood’s Sierra Bonita Avenue at 10pm last Wednesday night.

It showed a white sedan pulling up and two men jumping out. They struggled with the dog walker before one pulled a gun and fired a single shot before fleeing with two of the French bulldogs.

The third dog, Miss Asia evaded them initially then, once they had fled, ran back to Fischer as he lay on the ground, screaming: ‘Help! I’ve been shot!’

Miss Asia has since been reunited with Lady Gaga’s representatives.

The sudden breakthrough in finding the dogs last Friday came just hours after Lady Gaga broke her silence over the incident, calling her employee ‘a hero forever’.

‘I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You’re forever a hero,’ Lady Gaga said in an Instagram post on Friday.
