Lily Collins debuts her stylish French fringe while promoting Emily In Paris season two

With just three weeks left until Emily in Paris returns for its second season on Netflix, the cast and creator celebrated the show in Washington D.C.

And series lead Lily Collins debuted her recently chopped French fringe on the event’s photo op with her costars Ashley Park, William Abadie and series creator Darren Star.

The day’s Emily In Paris celebration was hosted in the nation’s capitol by the French Ambassador to the United States, Philippe Etienne. 

All smiles: With just three weeks left until Emily in Paris returns for its second season on Netflix, series lead Lily Collins and the rest of the cast and creator celebrated at a special event in Washington D.C.

Collins opted for a simple and stylish black ensemble, with a black long-sleeved top and an elegant and elaborate black maxi skirt.

Her long red locks flowed past her shoulders as she posed in front of a French poster for her hit show, which returns with the second season on December22.

The actress completed her look with nylons and black platform heels for the event.

Collins was seen alongside her co-star Ashley Park, who opted for a lime green ensemble including a bustier, shimmering green coat and pants with silver pumps.

Park plays Mindy Chen, a nanny who becomes Emily’s first friend in Paris, after she moves from the Midwest after being hired by a marketing firm. 

Their co-star William Abadie, who plays Emily’s client Antoine Lambert, opted for a stylish grey suit for the event.

New cast members for Season 2 include Jeremy O. Harris, Lucien Laviscount and Arnaud Binard.

Harris will play, ‘an iconic fashion designer, while Laviscount plays, ‘a Brit who gets under Emily’s skin before she starts to like sarcastic charm,’ and Binard guest stars as ‘the party boy owner of a popular Saint Tropez nightclub.’

Collins recently revealed in an interview with Vogue Australia that she wanted to keep a lot of Emily’s wardrobe this season… but producers wouldn’t let her.

She said that towards the end of this new season, she wears some ‘epic dresses’ which she wishes the other producers let her keep.

Collins spent four months in Paris filming the second season, with her co-star Ashley Park, who plays Mindy Chen on the show, revealing they were constantly recognized by fans, who said they were recognized by a lot of men. 

‘Not even by teenage girls. I can’t tell you how many middle-aged men came up to us, like “Oh, it’s you guys!”‘ Park says with a laugh.
