Missing girl, 10, is found safe after her mom was discovered murdered in their Texas home as police charge the youngster’s father over the killing

- Police later confirmed Ronald was in custody, charged with murdering his ex
- They said Rosemary had been found safe in a motel in Red Oak
A missing 10-year-old girl was found safe Wednesday after her dad was charged with murdering her mom in their Texas home.
Police had issued an amber alert for Rosemary Lee Singer after she went missing Tuesday evening.
She had last been seen with her dad Ronald Lee Singer, 35, when he picked her up from a friend’s house.
Her mom Maria Romero Ramos, 45, was then found dead by her roommate in her Carrollton apartment in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police later confirmed they had found Rosemary safe in a motel and charged her father with murdering her mom.
In a statement posted to Facebook officers said: ‘We have located Rosemary and Ronald Stinger. The child is safe and her father is now in custody, charged with murdering her mother.’
It is not clear if the father and daughter were discovered together but police confirmed Ronald had taken Rosemary to the motel in Red Oak where she was found unharmed. Ronald was arrested ‘without incident’, they said.
Chief Derick Miller said: ‘On the heels of tragedy and tragic loss of life, we had the best possible outcome occur.’

Issuing the amber alert police spokeswoman Jolene DeVito had told CBS Rosemary was in grave and immediate danger.
DeVito had said: ‘It’s clear that we’re dealing with a murder. We are worried about this child.’
Police had said the youngster’s dad Ronald may have been driving his ex’s black Mitsubishi Outlander SUV.
Rosemary had been last seen wearing a dark blue jacket with a red and gray t-shirt. She had dark blue pants and white and purple shoes on, police said.
Ronald Singer was described as 5-feet-10-inches tall with brown hair and hazel eyes.
He weighs 235 pounds and had been last seen wearing a gray shirt with a blue bandanna as a mask.
