BREAKING NEWS: ‘Multiple’ people are injured in St Louis shooting before car carrying suspects crashes into train

  • At least 12 people were shot in East St. Louis Thursday night, with the suspected gunman’s car carrying crashing into a passing train as they tried to flee 
  • The mass shooting occurred on the 500 block of Martin Luther King Drive, with six people taken to St. Louis University Hospital as of Thursday evening 
  • A metro train in the vicinity of the shooting crashed into a car immediately after the shooting, Bi-State confirmed 


Up to 12 people have been shot and injured by three suspects who crashed their car into a trian while making a getaway in St Louis.  

At least six people were taken to hospital after the shooting on Martin Luther King Drive in East St Louis, Missouri, according to local station KSDK.  

A metro train in the vicinity of the shooting crashed into a car immediately after the shooting, Bi-State confirmed.  

Authorities are working to determine whether or not the vehicle was involved in the mass shooting and are still hunting for the suspects.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing, according to police.

As of Thursday evening, it is unclear as to the condition of the victims.
