An Ohio teenager has been charged with murdering his 11-year-old brother after stabbing the younger boy to death then calling 911 on himself.
Nate McAtee, 19, killed his brother Joseph at their home in Windham, Ohio, on Tuesday.
It’s unclear why he snapped, but family say he has suffered mental illness for years.
In a disturbing 911 call obtained by DailyMail.com, McAtee can be heard telling the dispatcher afterwards that he had stabbed his younger brother ‘three times, once in the back, twice in the throat’.

McAtee told 911 that he stabbed his 11-year-old brother Joseph (pictured) ‘once in the back and twice in the throat’
He made the call at 1.44am, telling the dispatcher that he didn’t know his address but that they had to ‘come now’.
‘I just killed my brother I don’t know the address. I stabbed him three times. One in the back, twice in the throat. Come get me right now. I’ll turn myself in.
‘I’ll be waiting for you. Now! Send them… I’m hanging up,’ he said.
Police traced the call to his apartment. Another person later called 911 and reported what he had done.

McAtee was charged and appeared in court on Thursday where he smirked and laughed.

It’s unclear if the boys’ mother Tina was at home at the time
He told the judge ‘I’m cranky today’.
The judge replied: ‘You’re going to make me cranky.’
After his bond was set at $1million, the teenager scoffed: ‘That’s ridiculous’.
On social media, the boys’ family shared their grief.
In a now deleted comment on a local newspaper’s Facebook page, the boy’s father wrote: ‘He’s a schizophrenic.
‘He used to be my baby’.
Others who attended school with him said he suffered mental health issues.
It is unclear who else was in the apartment with the two boys when Nate turned on his brother.
