Republicans form organization called Unsilenced Majority to fight back against cancel culture by getting everyday Americans to boycott the woke corporations that bow to it

  • The group is being led by Mike Davis, a former staffer for the Senate Judiciary Committee under Sen. Chuck Grassley
  • Andy Surabian, one of Donald Trump Jr’s old advisers, and a former Dept of Justice spokesman is also involved
  • It launched on Monday and its mission is to stop cancel culture from ‘destroying the country’
  • They haven’t say who they’ll take on but they have condemned the army’s firing of  Lt Col. Matthew Lohmeier, who was relieved for calling Critical Race Theory Marxist
  • They say they’ll also take on Silicon Valley for censoring people

A group of Republicans operative has founded an organization called Unsilenced Majority to fight the left’s cancel culture by encouraging everyday Americans to boycott politicians and corporations that go ‘woke’.

The group is being spearheaded by Mike Davis, a former staffer for the Senate Judiciary Committee under Sen. Chuck Grassley, who says he’ll give liberals a ‘taste of their own medicine’ by subjecting them to the same rules they hold conservatives to.

He has also recruited Andy Surabian, a Steve Bannon associate who was an adviser to Donald Trump Jr., and Will Prior, who worked in the Department of Justice as a spokesperson during Trump’s presidency.

Their mission is to take on corporations that ‘go woke’ by encouraging every say Americans to boycott them and they list their core principles as free expression, corporate wokeism, worker firings and cancel culture in education.

They also plan to take on Silicon Valley and its censorship of voices tit disagrees with in the media and among individuals.

In their mission statement, they say on their website: ‘We strongly believe that corporate censorship, thought-policing and politically motivated blacklists and boycotts are having a corrosive effect on our country and will ultimately lead to a less free world.

The group is being spearheaded by Mike Davis, a former staffer for the Senate Judiciary Committee under Sen. Chuck Grassley.

‘We also believe that freedom of speech and diversity of thought are fundamental bedrocks of a free society and should always be protected and celebrated.

‘Unsilenced Majority speaks for an emboldened majority of Americans who recognize the imminent threat that cancel culture poses to our nation.’

Among the type of firings they say they’ll combat is that of  Lt Col. Matthew Lohmeier, who was was fired for calling Critical Race Theory Marxist.

Lohmeier had been the commander of the 11th Space Warning Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado, when he spoke about the rise of Marxism and Critical Race Theory in the armed forces on an episode of the ‘Information Operation’ podcast.

He said the comments were not meant to be partisan, but were instead meant to call out extremism in the armed forces.

In a statement about his firing, Davis said: ‘Lt. Col. Lohmeier’s firing is a pretext to silencing disfavored views within the Biden administration rather than a legitimate response to a patriotic officer exercising his First Amendment rights.

‘Lt. Col. Lohmeier was informed that his book did not require preapproval – so why would his free speech otherwise require approval? The Pentagon’s top brass showed their hand by labeling anti-Marxism as partisan politics.’

Over the last year, liberal issues and ideologies have swept through America and the rest of the world and are now dominating school curriculum, social media and corporate governance.

Lt Col. Matthew Lohmeier has been removed from his post after blasting diversity and inclusion training in the military as 'critical race theory rooted in Marxism'

Lt Col. Matthew Lohmeier was fired for calling CRT Marxist. His case is the type that the organization says they’ll fight

While people on the left say that many are just being held accountable, others – namely Republicans – say it’s going too far but they are fearful of speaking out in case they are canceled.

The group is asking for donations from the public.

It’s unclear how it will function – if they will go to bat for people who have been ‘canceled’, or they will solely take down people and organizations who ‘go woke’.

One way they’ll tackle cancel culture is by fighting Silicon Valley and its censorship over all voices it doesn’t agree with.

‘Cancel culture has become so pervasive that many Americans often find themselves self-censoring for fear of what might happen to them if they express an unpopular opinion or even express skepticism of a woke truism.

‘If the American citizenry cannot freely express itself without fear of retribution, the premise of our American democratic republic begins to crumble,’ the group says on its website.
