Rundown Brooklyn townhouse built in 1901 hits the market for $5.75 MILLION after gut-renovation

A rundown, Brooklyn townhouse built in 1901 has hit the market for $5.75million after a massive renovation.

The 119-year-old classic brownstone in the upmarket neighborhood of Park Slope was gutted down to the studs before a luxury remodel was carried out.

New additions to the property include Carrara marble-clad kitchen and bathrooms, a private elevator, garden, terrace and roof deck, as well as a coveted, reserved parking spot.

The top-to-bottom redesign was carried out by The Brooklyn Home Company, a family-run collective of developers and interior designers founded more than a decade ago by brother-sister duo Bill Caleo and Lyndsay Caleo Karol.

The 2,400-square-foot townhouse has five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, including a guest suite, and a garden room wet bar featuring a 48-bottle wine cooler.

It features paintings by Lyndsay Caleo Karol’s artist husband, Fitzhugh Karol, as well as a bespoke wood mantelpiece and a barn door in the master bedroom, as reported in Mansion Global.

The large gourmet kitchen features a range of upscale appliances, including an AGA range and Bosch refrigerator and two dishwashers, plus additional under-counter wine and beverage fridges
