BREAKING NEWS: Rush Limbaugh dies aged 70 after lung cancer battle

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh died on Wednesday, aged 70, following his battle with lung cancer.

News of Limbaugh’s death was announced by his wife Kathryn during his radio show.

Limbaugh was diagnosed with Stage IV advanced lung cancer back in January 2020.

The day after revealing he had cancer, Limbaugh was invited by President Trump to attend his State of the Union where he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

First Lady Melania Trump presented him with the honor.

Despite his diagnosis, Limbaugh continued to host his radio show, which had been in national syndication since 1988, missing just a few shows in October for treatment.
