Tyreek Hill is HANDCUFFED by police on his way into Miami Dolphins stadium in astonishing scenes after being cited for ‘reckless driving’

Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill was handcuffed and detained by police while entering the team’s Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday morning in astonishing scenes.

Hill, who is still set to line up for the Dolphins in their season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars, was seen being pinned to the ground and cuffed by police in shocking videos circulating on social media.

As he made his way to the stadium, the 30-year-old was ordered to pull over around one block away from Hard Rock after being cited for ‘reckless driving’, according to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington.

Following an alleged altercation with an officer, he was then seen being detained on the ground and led away in cuffs , before cops released him shortly after.

The Dolphins said in a statement: ‘This morning, WR Tyreek Hill was pulled over for a traffic incident about one block from the stadium and briefly detained by police. He has since been released.

‘Several teammates saw the incident and stopped to offer support.

‘Tyreek and all other players involved have safely arrived to the stadium and will be available for today’s game.’

Despite his client being released, Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, has described the incident as ‘completely unnecessary’ and suggested they will take action.

‘I’m very distraught about it,’ Rosenhaus told Darlington on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown. ‘We’re going to have to look into it.’
