Woman details how men at a bar ‘shoved drugged beers’ in the hands of her and her friend

A TikTok user’s viral video about being given drugged drinks by strangers at a bar is serving as a reminder to all women to stay safe — and get their drinks straight from the bartender.

Aili, who is from Washington and goes by @aili.likes.adventure on the app, shared her scary experience last week, recounting how two men aggressively gave her and her friend drinks at a bar.

The 25-year-old said that while her friend sipped away, she trusted her instinct that something wasn’t right — and managed to get her soon-stumbling friend home safe.

‘I had a really scary experience with my friend last night, and I want to share this story because I feel like it could stop this from happening to someone else,’ she began her video, which has been viewed over 6.2 million times.

‘We went out for drinks at a bar that we had never been to before, and my friend was up at the bar buying our second round, and this guy came up to me and asked if I wanted a drink,’ she said.

‘I was standing a little bit behind my friend, so I was like, “Thank you so much, but my friend’s got me.”

‘So we took our drinks and went and sat on the patio and this guy and two friends came and sat at the table next to us. At this point, we thought nothing of it, because you never do,’ she continued.

But the men continued to follow them around.

‘So we just continued on with our night and ended up hitting the dance floor. I’ve never gotten to dance with my friend before, and we were having the time of our lives until those men showed up on the dance floor,’ she recalled.

The men got increasingly persistent, ultimately forcing drinks into their hands — under the guise of being friendly.

‘By the end of the night, it’s just me and my friend dancing together. And the two guys from earlier come up to us and shove beers in our hands,’ Aili said.

‘They didn’t say “We bought you these drinks.” They didn’t say, “Do you want to drink?” They just put them in our hands.

‘My friend started drinking hers immediately. As I put mine up to my lips, a voice dropped in my head and it said, “Don’t drink that,”‘ she said.

‘So instead of drinking it, I put it back in his hand, and I said, “You drink it.” He was so stunned — he literally backed away, and all he could say was, “No.”

‘I pushed it out again, and I said, “Take a drink,” and he said, “No, I got it for you.” I was like, “I don’t want it. Let me see you take a drink.” He wouldn’t even take the drink from me,’ so I immediately stopped my friend from drinking, grabbed her by the arm, and said, “We’re leaving.”

'We made it home safe last night, but I know there's so may women out there who don't,' she said

‘As we were leaving the dance floor, he followed us out and I had to physically push him off of me. Thank god I’m a strong a** b****,’ she quipped.

‘My friend went from being able to dance with me and talk to stumbling around, barely able to form a sentence.’

While the pair waited for their Uber to arrive, Aili grew concerned when she noticed the men, once again, hovering nearby.

‘I made eye contact, and I said, “Those are the two guys,’” Aili said. ‘We both turned around, and they were gone. We made it home [safely] last night, but I know [there are] so many women out there who don’t.

‘We made it home safe last night, but I know there’s so may women out there who don’t,’ she said, tearing up. ‘So please, shared this with someone that you think needs to hear it.’

She concluded: ‘And always, always trust your intuition. If something doesn’t feel right, it’s because it’s not right. ‘

'You never know you would react until you're in that situation,' she said. 'My first thought, having these big dudes standing over me and my friends, was "Get the f*** out of here and get my friend home safe'

In a follow-up video, Aili reacted to commenters who asked her why she didn’t report it to the police.

She explained firmly that she was concerned with getting her friend home safe above all else.

‘You never know you would react until you’re in that situation,’ she said. ‘My first thought, having these big dudes standing over me and my friends, was “Get the f*** out of here and get my friend home safe.

‘We had to get out of there in order to get away from them,’ she added.
