Woman reveals she uses SHAMPOO to leave mirrors sparkling

Woman reveals how she uses SHAMPOO to leave mirrors streak-free and sparkling (and it takes just seconds!)

  • TikTok user malsabena has come up with hack to leave your mirrors sparkling
  • She pours some strawberry-scented shampoo onto a cloth before wiping mirror
  • Uses a scraper to remove excess product, before revealing the glistening results
  • Also showed how method had same impressive result on a metal radiator

Is this anything more frustrating than cleaning a mirror, only to be left with smear marks and streaks after hours of hard work?

Well, TikTok user malsabena has come up with a handy hack to leave your mirrors sparkling – and it involves nothing more than a cheap bottle of shampoo.

In the clip, captioned ‘another cleaning hack for streak free mirrors,’ the social media user can be seen holding a bottle of sunkissed strawberry Alberto Balsam shampoo, before pouring a reasonable amount on a cloth.

She then wipes it over a bathroom mirror, before scraping off the excess with a shower scraper – before demonstrating how it also has the same impressive results on a metal radiator.

The clip, which has since garnered over 8, 600 likes, has received hundreds of comments from homeowners keen to give the handy hack a try for themselves.

‘Ooh going to try this so thanks my love,’ wrote one, while a second commented: ‘I’ve washed shower doors in the shower with a loofah and shampoo and rinse. It works.’

Another person admitted they ‘really want to try’ the shampoo idea but questioned whether the shampoo leaves sticky leftovers, to which the TikTok user reassured:

‘No, it’s super shiny. I use it on all my reflective/mirror/glass surfaces after I’ve disinfected them.’

Elsewhere, others took the opportunity to share their own handy cleaning hacks instead.

‘Washing up liquid works the exact same,’ wrote one, while a second penned: ‘E-Cloth (branded microfibre cloth) and water. No smears perfect every time).’

A third added: ‘Bit of window spray and a pillow case works like magic.’

Elsewhere, another suggested to ‘just use white vinegar’ but the TikTok user told how she doesn’t like the smell.
